Sullivan - 'Disappointing defeat'

A number of inspired saves by Doncaster Rovers goalkeeper Neil Sullivan still couldn't prevent Rovers leaving Brunton Park empty handed.

Speaking after the game Sullivan stated the disappointment that the Rovers team are feeling after the defeat.

He was however quick to stress that Rovers can play a lot better than they have done today as Rovers lose their automatic promotion place to Nottingham Forest and are now only one point clear of fourth place Carlisle.

Sullivan stated that Rovers will be desperate to get back to winning ways when they travel to sixth place Tranmere Rovers next Saturday.

Sulli was probably Rovers man of the match. Was always going to be hard at Carlisle, shame we couldn't at least sneak a draw.
