Matt Mills Agrees Doncaster Move

Matt Mills went to Man City as a player with great promise, but he never really got his chance so ended last season on loan with Doncaster, helping the club to promotion to the Championship, a loan that will now become permanent.

John Ryan has revealed that the 21-year-old was asked if he wanted to stay as soon as promotion was achieved on the Wembley turf: 'Mills said he would be more than delighted to sign for Doncaster Rovers,' Ryan told BBC Radio Sheffield. 'I asked Matty on the Wembley pitch if he fancied staying with us for next season.

'In reality we needed to be a Championship club to sign him so we are hopeful a deal can be done.'

It is believed that Mills will cost Donny around £300,000, so is this money well spent?

Brilliant signing, he's a good quality player who will do well in the Championship.

recall him having a howler at Loftus Road for Coventry whilst on loan. got a bit better since then!
Boxer
Well had him on loan at Colchester last season, looked shaky, but has seemed to improved since.

He's still not signed for the Rovers. Apparently he's after a huge chunk in wages. I think Rovers need to realise they are no longer in League One and if they want to stay there they will have to pay for much better players.

For 300k if he cuts the mustard in the Championship I would have thought so.

Rumours linking you with Micheal Bridges from Hull

He's a quality player, and I'd have signed him if I was Ipswich manager - really as one for the future though.

I would like Michael Bridges, I am sure he would do a good job in the Championship.
