Rovers sign defender

Doncaster have signed 29 year old Dutch central defender Jos Van Nieuwstadt from Dutch side Excelsior Rotterdam.
He's signed a two year deal at the club after impressing in the last two pre season victories against Newcastle and Port Vale.
Jos started his career at Willem II Titburg before spending the last two seasons at Rotterdam. Jos made 31 starts last season out of the 34 games when Rotterdam were relegated from the eredivisie. In his first season he made 33 starts scoring 1 goal and also being sent off once.
Doncaster moved to sign the central defender with the ongoing saga of Matt Mills still not resolved.
Jos will wear the number four shirt.
