Please comment on Rovers latest poll.
Are you happy with Rovers summer transfer activity?
With John Ryan finally reaching his target of Championship football at Doncaster Rovers its been a reasonably quiet summer in the transfer market.
So far Rovers have only brought in four players.
Jos Van Nieuwstadt a central defender who was playing in the Dutch eredivisie with Excelsior Rotterdam last season. Jos has impressed during two pre season outings.
Darren Byfield a vastly experienced and travelled centre forward. Byfield has always scored goals, even at 32 he's managed to average a goal every two games for three different clubs in the last three seasons.
John Spicer a midfielder from Burnley who previously worked with Sean O'Driscoll at Bournemouth. He's had very few first team opportunites at Burnley for the last few seasons and was released by them at the end of the 2007/08 season.
Tomi Ameobi a centre forward from Leeds United. Ameobi only managed a single first team appearance for Leeds before a short loan spell at Scunthorpe in the Championship last season. He made nine starts for Scunthorpe without scoring.
Stuart Elliott completed his signing from Hull City after a loan spell last season. Elliott only made one start during the loan spell and struggling with injuries throughout.
We are still waiting to hear whether Matt Mills will be joining Rovers after his succesful loan spell last season.
Players to have left are centre forward Mark Mccammon who has joined Gillingham. Mark didn't really score enough goals for a big strong attacker.
Paul Green was the biggest blow joining Derby the week after Rovers gained promotion. Green was a very influential and hard working midfielder who will be sorely missed.
Stephen Roberts a firm favourite with the fans left to join Walsall.
So do we have enough to survive?
