Mills included in team of the week

Matt Mills has been included in The Championship team of the week.

This was in recognition of a strong defensive performance in Doncaster's opening day win at Derby.
Mills had the tough task of keeping Derby attackers Rob Hulse and Nathan Ellington quiet. He rarely gave either of them a chance all afternoon.

The defender spent most of last season on loan at Rovers and a fee was agreed with Manchester City when the season ended.

This was put on hold when Mark Hughes took over at City.
Luckily the sale was eventually concluded with the defender signing for £300,000.
After his performance at the weekend it certainly looks like a great investment.

I think Mills will have a fantastic season. He looked quality last season and having already been at clubs like Man City and Southampton the Championship should be no problem for him.
