DRFC - Brian Stock out of Wales friendly

Doncaster Rovers midfielder Brian Stock has pulled out of the Wales squad for their friendly against Georgia on Wednesday night at the Liberty Stadium Swansea.

Stock has failed to recover from a back injury picked up since the weekend draw against Cardiff City.

The Rovers captain who was also picked for the squad against Luxembourg back in March has yet to win a full international cap.

The influential midfielder has made a great start to the season but has had to return from training with the Wales squad to have intensive treatment to try and get him fit for Saturday`s trip to Queens Park Rangers.

He's going to be influential in the middle this season so I am glad he's not tried to push himself throught the injury to win his first cap.
