Doncaster entertains Coventry City at the Keepmoat this weekend, the first League fixture between the two since 1952.
Both clubs come into the fixture on the back of their first League defeats of the season last weekend.
Rovers lost at promotion candidates QPR 2-0 whilst Coventry after starting with two wins out of two came back down to earth getting beat 3-0 at home against last season`s play off finalists Bristol City.
Coventry had a midweek Carling Cup tie at home against Newcastle, after a spirited fight back they eventually lost in extra time 3-2.
In fact Coventry has so far only played one away game out of five League and cup games. They will be hoping for a similar result from South Yorkshire after winning that game 2-1 at Barnsley.
The two clubs paths have only ever crossed ten times before in the League. Interesting results were the first two League encounters in the 1925/26 season when Coventry won 4-0 at Highfield Road before losing the return at Belle Vue 8-1!
Rovers have never suffered a loss when the two clubs have met on home soil on five occasions, this will however be Coventry`s first ever visit to the Keepmoat.
Full list of results between the two
1925/26 Coventry City 4-0 Doncaster Rovers
1925/26 Doncaster Rovers 8-1 Coventry City
1936/37 Doncaster Rovers 1-1 Coventry City
1936/37 Coventry City 1-1 Doncaster Rovers
1947/48 Coventry City 1-0 Doncaster Rovers
1947/48 Doncaster Rovers 0-0 Coventry City
1950/51 Coventry City 3-1 Doncaster Rovers
1950/51 Doncaster Rovers 2-1 Coventry City
1951/52 Coventry City 1-2 Doncaster Rovers
1951/52 Doncaster Rovers 1-0 Coventry City
Rovers are boosted by the news that Matt Mills should play after not suffering a fractured jaw last weekend.
Other big positives are the return to fitness of Jason Price and summer signing Darren Byfield. With next weekend being a blank weekend because of international fixtures Sean O`Driscoll may choose not to risk them and instead play them in a friendly that`s been arranged with Leeds United next week.
Man to watch - Matt Mills
The central defender has started the season in impressive fashion and will need to be on top form to keep the Coventry strike force that can consist of Mckenzie, Morrison, Mifsud and Eastwood at bay.
The sky Blues will be hoping to welcome back Kieren Westwood and Freddy Eastwood to the team after suffering injuries in last weekends defeat.
Forward Eastwood suffered a groin strain and was withdrawn at half time whilst keeper Westwood suffered concussion and a dislocated thumb in a heavy challenge early in the game.
Man to watch - Clinton Morrison
The experienced centre forward joined City in the summer and has so far scored two goals both in the Carling Cup.
