DRFC - Rovers can build on start to the season

One of Doncaster`s summer signings utility man James Chambers believes that Rovers will do better than his last club in the Championship.

Chambers was relegated at the end of last season after his Leicester City side were relegated despite having one of the best defensive records in the Division.

Speaking to the Star Chambers said 'It is the first time that the club have played at this level for 50 years so everyone will probably have been a bit apprehensive at the start of the season,'

He`s also been very successful and achieved promotion three times including scoring a goal in the 2006 Championship play off final for Watford against Leeds United.

Rovers fans are delighted with the start that we have made and Chambers was quick to point to this by saying
'As well as picking up some good results in our opening games, I am sure that the supporters will have been very pleased with the performances as well.

We have been quite tight at the back so far, need a few more goals now though and with Byfield and Price back that should be sorted.
