DRFC -Mills facing fitness battle

Matt Mills is facing a battle to be fit for this weekend`s game against one of his former clubs Southampton.

The defender suffered a thigh injury very early on in the game at Bristol City on Saturday but battled on for over fifty minutes before having to be replaced.

Mills was having a good battle with Dele Adebola and Rovers looked shaky in defence after his withdrawal.

Mills started his career at Southampton and after three straight defeats Rovers will want to get back to winning ways.

Rovers have quite a few possible replacements with skipper Adam Lockwood most likely to replace him. Lockwood came off the bench on Saturday to replace him but the reds also have Jos Van Nieuwstadt and James Chambers who could come into the side.

We really looked unorganised after he left the pitch.
