'If It's Football, It's Vital'

DRFC- We need a goalscorer!

Rover`s fifth defeat in a row against Sheffield United is their worst run of results in eleven years.

Not since the ill fated 1997/98 season have Rovers had such a bad run when they lost eight in a row.

What`s annoying is the fact that apart from the second half at Bristol City they have been playing well and could quite easily come away with maximum points from these games if not for bad luck and poor finishing.

It`s been plainly obvious to me that we needed a quality striker to do anything in this Division; we only brought in Darren Byfield during the summer who was released by Bristol City.

So where do we go from here?
It`s obvious that we need to find goals from somewhere. So far the only centre forward to score is Lewis Guy and his last goal was in the second League game of the season.

What`s more mystifying is the fact that the best striker we have had at the club in recent seasons, Paul Heffernan can`t even get a game!

Please give me your opinion on this frustrating matter.
