DRFC - Injury news

Rovers are hoping to solve the back problem that`s plagued skipper Brian Stock all season during the international break.

Stock who was supposed to be part of the Wales squad for their World Cup qualifiers pulled out of the squad to concentrate on regaining full fitness.

Physio Jon Dickens speaking in The Star said "Brian had a deep anti-inflammatory injection in his back on Tuesday to see if we can settle it down"

Speaking about some of the other players Dickens spoke about Stocks fellow midfielder Richie Wellens and said, "Richie has got a bit of an inflamed groin so we sent him for a scan yesterday"

Striker Gareth Taylor who returned at Barnsley on Saturday suffered a leg injury during the game; Dickens was quick to down play the fears that it was his hamstring again when saying "It is not a reoccurrence of the hamstring problem. It`s the same leg but a different muscle"
