DRFC - Doncaster v Barnsley preview

Doncaster entertain Barnsley on Tuesday night knowing that three points is a must against their South Yorkshire rivals.

The clubs only met three weeks ago at Oakwell with the home side running out 4-1 after being 1-0 down and down to ten men.

Form
Doncaster felt hard done by on Saturday losing at Norwich City when they conceded the winner in the 93rd minute.
So far at home this season Rovers have won one, drawn two and lost three.

Barnsley climbed out of the relegation zone on Saturday with a 0-0 draw at home against Bristol City.
So far this season on their travels Barnsley have drawn one and lost five.

Man to watch

Martin Woods Doncaster Rovers

Seems to have found the form he showed when at Rotherham, sooner or later one of his long range shots is going to fly into the top corner.

Jamal Campbell Ryce
Campbell Ryce seems to have found his form since his second half performance against Rovers earlier this month.
Ryce scored a sensational goal in the reverse fixture at Barnsley when Rovers failed to put in a meaningful tackle to stop him going almost full length of the pitch.

History
The clubs have met twenty nine times at Doncaster in the past with Doncaster winning thirteen to Barnsley`s six with ten being draws.

Barnsley`s last victory at Doncaster was back in the 1967/68 season.

This is a must win game for Rovers, nothing less than three points will do.

you need a win....but I dont think you will get it....a draw is on the cards..

Oh no! This is looking parlous. Guys I don't know what you have to do but you must do it quick. Forget the pride -- where is the good old fashioned survival instinct? Living this close to the edge is normally quite enough to give anadrenalin rush. Is anyone awake?
Sindbad
Once again, more possession with nothing to show for it. Some serious changes need to be made.
