Doncaster once again face a South Yorkshire derby this weekend, this time against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
Form
Sheffield Wednesday come into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace last Saturday.
So far at home this season The Owls have won four and drawn two of their Championship matches.
Doncaster claimed a point last Saturday at home against Swansea City but missed the chance to take all three points when Paul Heffernan had his penalty kick saved with just five minutes remaining.
After winning their opening game of the season1-0 at Derby, the Rovers have lost their other six fixtures on the road.
Team News
The home side have no fresh injury worries and they have Tony McMahon back on a further month`s loan from Middlesborough.
Rovers are hoping that Richie Wellens will be back in the starting line up after he completed 45 minutes of a midweek friendly against Aston Villa.
Also playing his first full 90 minutes of the year in that game was defender Gordon Greer.
Definitely out is defender Jos Van Nieuwstadt (hamstring).
New loan signing Shelton Mathis is also struggling with a hamstring injury he picked up in training.
History
Doncaster have yet to taste victory in a League encounter at Hillsborough although Rovers did win a League Cup encounter in 1978 but still lost the tie after a replay was needed after the two legs.
They have only met on six occasions in all competitions at Hillsborough with Wednesday winning five to Doncaster`s one.
There most recent encounter was in 2005 when Wednesday won 2-0.
