DRFC - Forest v Doncaster preview

Doncaster travel to Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day in a crucial six pointer against another team in the bottom three.

Forest won at Southampton last weekend to take them to within one point of the Saints and out of the relegation zone.
Last time they played at home they drew 0-0 with Blackpool.

Rovers lost last Saturday at home against table toppers Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0; it was the third game in a row that Rovers have lost to a team chasing promotion in the last ten minutes of a game.
Last time they played away they lost 2-1 at Crystal Palace.

Nottingham Forest
Wes Morgan continues to play through the pain barrier although he requires surgery on his hernia.
Forest have players back in contention for the game, Nathan Tyson returns after illness, James Perch returns after suspension and Lewis McGugan could be pushing for a place in the starting line up after recovering from a thigh injury and only being on the bench last weekend.

Doncaster
Matt Mills and Martin Woods are both back in contention after serving one match bans last weekend, the only other players definitely missing are long term injured James Hayter, Sean McDaid and Gordon Greer. Loan striker Steve Brooker has returned to Rovers after suffering an injury in his first game but he`s still not fit enough to return to action.

The two clubs have already met this season when they drew 0-0 at The Keepmoat Stadium only a month ago.

They have met a total of 13 times at The City Ground with Forest winning 8, drawing 4 and Rovers 1, Rovers only victory came as recently as 2007 when a Brain Stock 30 yard goal gave Rovers a 1-0 victory.
