DRFC - Rovers get Villa in Cup

Doncaster Rovers have been drawn against Premiership Aston Villa in the FA Cup fourth round at The Keepmoat if they can firstly get past Cheltenham Town.

It will be a repeat of the 2005 Carling Cup fourth round tie when Rovers defeated Villa 3-0 at Belle Vue.

The re arranged third round clash will take place on Tuesday 13th January with a 7.45pm kick off.

It`s the first time the Rovers have been in the hat for the fourth round in 23 years due to their third round clash being called off on Saturday.

The fourth round ties will take place over the weekend of 24th & 25th January.

The draw was made by Dave Beasant and Roberto Di Matteo.
