'If It's Football, It's Vital'

DRFC - Doncaster v Bristol City officials

Mr Clive Oliver will be the man in charge of Saturday`s Championship clash between Doncaster Rovers and Bristol City at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Mr Oliver so far this season has refereed 16 games; in those 16 games that he`s refereed he`s shown 41 yellow cards and 4 reds.

His last game in charge was the league two clash between Grimsby Town and Notts County on Boxing Day when he showed four yellow cards.

Last season he refereed 33 games showing 89 yellow cards and 2 reds.

The last time he was in charge of a Doncaster Rovers game was last season when they won 5-1 against Bradford City in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy, in that game he showed five yellow cards.

He was the referee for three Doncaster games during the 2006/07 season, firstly the Carling Cup tie with Derby when Rovers went through on penalties after a 3-3 draw, in that game he showed four yellow cards and sent off Arturo Lupoli of Derby.
He was then in charge of the Johnstones Paint northern final first leg when Rovers drew 3-3 at Crewe Alexandra, in that game he showed one yellow.
On the last day of that season he was in charge of the 2-2 draw at the Keepmoat against Northampton Town when he showed two yellows.

He`s certainly got a good record for goals in games when officiating Rovers games in recent times.

The last time he was in charge of a Bristol City game was last season when they won 1-0 at Burnley.

Referee: Mr C.W Oliver (Northumberland)
Assistants: W. Porter & B. Roberts
Fourth official: G. Beswick
