'If It's Football, It's Vital'

DRFC - Cheltenham v Doncaster officials

Mr Neil Swarbrick will be the man in charge of Tuesday`s FA Cup third round tie between Cheltenham Town and Doncaster Rovers at Whadden Road after calling off the original game on the 3rd January.

Mr Swarbrick so far this season has refereed 19 games; in those 19 games that he`s refereed he`s shown 44 yellow cards and 3 reds.

His last game in charge was the League Two Boxing Day clash between Lincoln City and Bradford City when he showed three yellow cards.

He was due to referee Cardiff City v Derby County on Saturday but called the game off because of a frozen pitch.

Shocks in the competition follow this referee around, last season he was in charge of Chasetown`s victory over Port Vale.

This season he`s been the referee in charge of both the big cup upsets in each round so far this season, in the first round he was in charge when Blyth Spartans beat Shrewsbury Town then in the second round he took charge of Histon`s famous win over Leeds United.

Last season he refereed 39 games showing 77 yellow cards and 8 reds.

The last time he was in charge of a Cheltenham Town game was last season when they lost 3-0 at Port Vale, on that day he sent off a player from each side in the first half for violent conduct.

The last time he was in charge of a Doncaster Rovers game was last season when they beat Leyton Orient 4-2 at home.
Swarbrick`s refereed Doncaster on two other occasions, the 0-0 home draw with Yeovil Town in 2007 and the 1-0 victory over Oldham away in 2005.

Referee: Mr N.D Swarbrick (Lancashire)
Assistants: M.C Dexter & M.J Foley
Fourth official: S.J Rushton
