DRFC - Chambers to serve one match suspension

James Chambers will miss the FA Cup tie against Aston Villa on Saturday if Rovers overcome Cheltenham on Tuesday after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season at Southampton on Saturday.

Chambers was booked for a fairly innocuous challenge during the first half and looked disappointed when the referee produced the yellow card.

Rovers recent up turn in fortunes have coincided with the inclusion of Chambers in the starting eleven and he`s been putting in consistent performances at left back.

Rovers have only lost three of the twelve games he`s played in since becoming a regular in the starting line up.

If Rovers are to lose against Cheltenham then Chambers will be suspended for the following Tuesday`s championship clash at Sheffield United.

Hopefully Rovers progress and Chambers misses the FA Cup tie rather than a more important league clash.

He's been brilliant since breaking into the side, I'd sooner him miss the Villa game than the Sheff Utd game.
