DRFC - Doncaster v Villa match officials

Mr Mark Halsey will be the man in charge of Saturday`s FA Cup Fourth Round clash between Doncaster Rovers and Aston Villa.

Mr Halsey so far this season has refereed 22 games; in those 22 games that he`s refereed he`s shown 33 yellow cards and 2 reds.

His last game in charge was the Premiership clash between West Brom and Middlesbrough last Saturday when he booked two and sent off one.

Last season he refereed 44 games showing 91 yellow cards and 5 reds.

The last time he was in charge of a Doncaster Rovers game was earlier this season when Doncaster drew 1-1 in the Championship against Cardiff City at home, in that game he showed one yellow card.

He was also in charge of Doncaster`s 5-1 play off semi final triumph over Southend United at the end of last season.

The Lancashire official will go down in history as the first referee to officiate a game at the new Keepmoat Stadium, in that game he showed three red cards, two to Huddersfield and one to Doncaster in a 3-0 Rovers win.

Halsey has already refereed two Villa games this season; he was in charge of their 3-2 defeat at Stoke City early in the season and more recently in their 1-0 victory at West Ham.

Referee: Mr M.R Halsey (Lancashire)
Assistants: G.T Stott & S.A Child
Fourth official: D. Deadman

He's got a decent record when officiating Rovers games, I just hope he doesn't spoil Saturday's game with any poor decisions.
