DRFC - Rovers sign Brooker

Steve Brooker has put pen to paper and signed for Doncaster Rovers on a two and a half year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Brooker who initially came on loan to Doncaster in November only managed around thirty minutes on the pitch has a substitute in the 1-1 draw at Watford, he still managed to score Rovers all important equaliser within five minutes of his introduction.

The 28 year old then suffered a calf injury in training the following week and returned to his parent club Bristol City.

Rovers who finally managed to get out of the relegation zone at Sheffield United on Tuesday night with their fourth straight victory will be hoping that Brooker can score the goals that can steer Rovers to safety.

Great to see him back, lets hope he soon gets fit, him and Heffernan could be a fantastic strike partnership.

IF he stays fit - he could be the man to lead you to mid table safety. I am a bit surprised you offered him a 2.5 year deal with his recent injury record though!
