Mr Lee Mason will be the man in charge of Wednesday`s FA Cup 4th round replay between Aston Villa and Doncaster Rovers at Villa Park.

Mr Mason so far this season has refereed 21 games; in those 21 games that he`s refereed he`s shown 75 yellow cards and 6 reds.

Last season he refereed 32 games showing 109 yellow cards and 6 reds.

The last time he was in charge of an Aston Villa game was earlier this season when they lost 1-0 at home against Championship side QPR in the Carling Cup.

The last time he was in charge of a Doncaster Rovers game was earlier this season when they lost 1-0 against South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday away, in that game he didn`t show any cards.

The time before that was on the last day of last season when Rovers lost 2-1 at Cheltenham Town.

I'm clutching at straws but the lat time he refereed Villa they lost at home against a Championship side in the cup!

He was a joke on Wednesday night, he should be demoted but then we would probably end up with him again!!
