DRFC - Travel information for Villa Park

Cars travelling to Villa Park on Wednesday 4th February 2009

We recommend that fans travelling by car from the North exit the M6 at Junction 7 and follow the signs for Birmingham A34.

Having passed Alexandra Stadium on the left, all vehicles should stay in the nearside lane. Leave the main carriageway just prior to the flyover at Perry Barr Greyhound Stadium (DO NOT go over the flyover).

The road splits in to four lanes as you approach the traffic lights. Stay in the left hand lane and you will see signs for matchday parking priced at £4.

Villa Park is a ten minute walk from the car park, and using this car park will ensure you access the motorway quickly after the match.

it don't matter where you park, it's still a nightmare getting away!

Don't fancy yours much what with the M62/M6 rush hour traffic and the terrible weather.! Hope the trip is worthwhile and you come back with a premiership scalp. Good Luck!

Think most places are a nightmare getting out of after games though Merlin, most are inner city and obviously not built to cater for 1000's of cars!
The Fear
Scunny is one of the worse we've been to recently for getting away. We might have had trouble at Exeter but they parked the coach a good 15 minute walk away from the ground so by the time we got ready for the off everyone else had gone!
