DRFC - Stock up for award
Doncaster Rovers club captain Brian Stock has been nominated for the Powerade Championship player of the month for January.
Stock has been a pivotal part of Rovers climb away from the relegation zone in the Championship, Rovers went through the month unbeaten in six games.
27 year old Stock was rumoured with a move to a number of Premiership clubs during the transfer window but it didn`t affect his game has he put in a number of great performances including scoring two goals in the FA Cup replay win over Cheltenham.
The candidates are:
Joe Ledley - Cardiff City
Jason Scotland -Swansea City
Brian Stock -Doncaster Rovers
DJ Campbell - Blackpool
The winner will be announced on Sky Sports, The Big League Weekend2 on Monday night at 6pm.
