DRFC - 52 points for safety?

DRFC - 52 points for safety?

Rovers now sit on 43 points after Friday nights 2-1 home victory over Derby County and surely another nine points from the remaining twelve games will see them safe.

Rovers who went into the Christmas programme in 22nd spot and in the relegation zone are now in 15th spot after winning nine, drawing one and losing one League game since Christmas Day.

Southampton are currently filling the last relegation spot with 34 points from 34 games, if Rovers were to secure another nine points that would mean that Southampton would require at least seven wins from their final twelve games to overall Rovers in the table.

Shame there isn't 20games to go they could be considering the play offs. Well done to all at Rovers for sticking by the manager when they was propping up the table, some chairman could have been quick to pull the trigger. A good job we've got the best in the business in John Ryan.
