DRFC - Charlton v Doncaster preview

Doncaster travel to Charlton Athletic on Tuesday hoping to continue with the form that`s seen them rise to 15th in the Championship.

Form

Charlton Athletic
Charlton got a very creditable draw at Swansea City on Saturday and have recently seen an up turn in form which sees them unbeaten in three although they are still at the bottom of the Championship.

Doncaster
Doncaster made it eight wins from their last ten league games on Friday night when they came from behind to beat Derby County 2-1 at home.
Last time out on their travels they lost 3-1 at Swansea In a feisty affair which saw James Coppinger taken to hospital with concussion and Richie Wellens sent off.

History
The two clubs paths have only ever crossed five times in their history, Charlton have won four to Doncaster`s one.

Charlton have a 100% home record winning both their previous encounters although they haven`t met at the Valley since Christmas Day 1957.
The fact Rovers have never won at the Valley shouldn`t faze them has they have recently recorded first ever wins at Sheffield United and Blackpool and a first ever home win against Sheffield Wednesday.

When the two clubs met earlier in the season at Doncaster the visitors took all three points thanks to an early goal from Andy Gray.

Charlton have been playing a bit better recently, it will be interesting to see if Mark Wilson can keep the returning Richie Wellens out the team.
