Doncaster won in midweek 2-0 against Qpr and now sit firmly in mid table and have almost secured their place in the Championship for next season, it`s a remarkable turn around in the second half of the season after Rovers were rock bottom at Christmas and looking almost certain to be returning to League One next season, they are now only eight points of the play off positions.

The Blues continue to stutter at the top end of the table, on Tuesday night they scrambled a 1-1 draw at relegation threatened Barnsley.

The two clubs have only ever met seven times at Doncaster with both sides winning three games a piece, it will be Birmingham`s first visit to the Keepmoat Stadium in fact the last time they came to Doncaster was at he end of the 1954/55 season when Birmingham won 5-1.

When the two clubs met at St Andrews earlier in the season Nafti was sent off for the home side in the first twenty five minutes.
Doncaster dominated the game for long periods but came away with nothing after Cameron Jerome scored the only goal of the game in the opening seconds of the second half.
