DRFC -Doncaster v Watford preview

Doncaster entertain Watford this Saturday hoping to claim at least a draw which would see them reach the magical fifty points mark.

Form

Doncaster
Rovers have stuttered in recent weeks and have lost their last three games.
Last time out at home they lost 1-0 to a late Dave Kitson goal against Reading.

Recent home form (last game first) LLWWWW

Watford
The Hornets have enjoyed an improvement in form since the turn of the year, they have only lost two of their last nine games and they sit just behind Doncaster in the table.

Last time out on their travels they drew 0-0 at Ipswich Town.

Recent away form (last game first) DLWLWL

History
It will be the first meeting between the two clubs at Doncaster in over thirty years.

They have only ever met five times all at the old Belle Vue ground, both teams have won two games with one being drawn.

The two clubs have already met this season at Vicarage Road, on that occasion Tommy Smith gave the home side the lead just past the half hour, Rovers equalised through new loan signing Steve Brooker who had only been on the pitch a matter of minutes when he scored (We`ve not seen him since!).

It would be great if they can take all three points and finally ease any relegation worries we may still have. Still waiting to see what happens to Southampton.
