DRFC - Another two out for the rest of the season

Leading goalscorer Paul Heffernan will miss the final two games of the season to have surgery on his cartilage.

Heffernan has been in fantastic form since getting a regular starting place in the side in December, he scored his tenth goal of the season at Plymouth last Saturday to help Rovers secure the win that guaranteed the Championship football next season.

Mark Wilson is also going to miss the final two games with a calf injury and he joins the ever growing list of Rovers casualties.

Its a good job we have secured our spot in the Championship with the amount of injuries Rovers have.

Hopefully we can start next season with a fully fit side, get some early wins and not be under pressure from the word go

Hopefully Heffernan will be in the side at the start. I am sure he struggled to get into the side this season because of his sending off at Southend.
