History
The two clubs have only ever met on four occasions at Doncaster with both sides winning two games each.

The last time they met at Doncaster was a League Cup encounter in 1981 when Rovers beat Palace 1-0.

When the two clubs met earlier in the season at Selhurst Park Rovers were unlucky to come away pointless, Paul Heffernan gave Rovers an early lead before Matt Mills was harshly sent off for a trip on Kuqi in the penalty box which resulted in a penalty to the hosts.
Rovers held on till the 89th minute until Alan Lee scored the winner for Palace.
