DRFC - Heffernan linked with summer move away

Paul Heffernan is the latest to be linked with a move away from Doncaster Rovers according to the Sun newspaper.

League One side Huddersfield Town are supposed to be the interested party in taking Doncaster`s leading goalscorer.

The 28 year old scored his tenth goal of the season recently at Plymouth to reach double figures again for the third time in four seasons at the club.

Heffernan is out through injury for the final game of the season but made a huge contribution to Doncaster`s survival in the Championship in the second half of the season.

He`s currently scored 44 goals for Rovers in 94 starts and 38 substitute appearances.

I can't see him leaving after his second half to the season. I couldn't see why O'Driscoll wasn't playing him regularly when we couldn't score goals. I think he had the hump with him after his sending off at Southend in the Play Offs.

I'm not sure how you think your wealthier when we have three of the richest men in Britain at the club. I hope you've enjoyed your mid table season in League One!

Can't see why he'd go back down to league one. Not the place to get noticed if he's aiming for bigger things.
