DRFC - Rovers to host Wolves in pre season
Rovers will play newly crowned Championship champions Wolverhampton Wanderers in a pre season testimonial game for long serving Mickey Walker.
Walker is enjoying his tenth year at the club and is currently the Director of football.
The game will take place on Saturday August 1st and will probably be Rovers only home pre season game with the club wanting to give the pitch time to recover after a hard season.
The atmosphere should be a good one with Wolves fans bombarding the Rovers website with complimentary notes about the behaviour of Rovers fans at last weekend`s final game of the season, with some who have followed their club for over 30 years saying Rovers fans were the best they had ever seen at Molineux.
Rovers have also confirmed one away game at local neighbours Rotherham United on Saturday July 25th at the Don Valley stadium.
