DRFC - Rovers turn down Wellens bid?

It`s reported in today`s Daily Mail that Rovers have turned down an approach from Leicester City for influential midfielder Richie Wellens.

The Foxes have reportedly offered £1m with Rovers supposedly asking £1.5m.

Rovers chairman John Ryan was quick to say at the end of the season that no player would be leaving for anything less than their correct value.

Wellens has played ninety five times since joining Rovers in 2007 scoring ten goals, he`s helped them to promotion from League One and a respectable mid table finish in the Championship.

Rovers have shown with Matt Mills you either poay what we want or we wont sell

Even if they offered more, do you think he should be sold? We don't want to lose the key players.

Apparently Ryan says any money we make will be re invested, whats the point of that? If we have the player why sell him and try and replace them?
