DRFC - Fans flock to the Keepmoat

Doncaster Rovers enjoyed an average home crowd of 11,963 in their first season in the Championship for fifty years.

Rovers highest attendance was the 14,283 that turned out for their local derby against Sheffield Wednesday.

Doncaster`s average was 22nd out of 24 clubs in the Championship.

However for gates percentage against the capacity of the ground Rovers averaged 78.5% of the ground being full, this was eight highest in the Division.

Rovers only failed to break through the 10,000 barrier in one home game and that was against Swansea City when 9,534 turned up.

A good average considering there position at Christmas, next season should be similar with so many local games to look forward too.
