'If It's Football, It's Vital'

DRFC - O'Driscoll - It's going to be tough

Rovers boss Sean O`Driscoll is bracing himself for a much tougher second season in the Championship.

With the likes of Newcastle, Middlesbrough and West Brom coming down and Leicester City being promoted he is aware that the League looks a lot more competitive than the one that`s just finished.

Rovers finished a creditable 14th in their first season back in the Championship for fifty years but knows improving on that will be a togh ask, speaking in the Doncaster Free Press O`Driscoll said 'It's not just the fact that Newcastle have come down that will make it tough next season - I just think standards seem to improve year on year."

With the fixtures out in just over two weeks time the players and fans alike will be looking for the away games at the likes of Newcastle United and Middlesbrough.

Quite a few teams did their homework on us towards the end of last season and packed their midfield and didint let us play. Its certainly going to be tough but looking forward to it.
