DRFC - Forest up Mills bid

Doncaster Rovers have turned down a bid in the region of £2 million from fellow Championship side Nottingham Forest for defender Matt Mills.

Rovers chairman John Ryan speaking on Radio Sheffield said Forest's bid was 'of the order of £2m.
They've made an enquiry, but we are not interested in selling Matt Mills,'

Forest along with Birmingham City and Newcastle United are all rumoured to be interested in signing Rovers record signing who joined the club from Manchester City for £300,000 last summer.

Birmingham had a number of bids turned down by Rovers in the January transfer window and Ryan made it clear back then that they would not sell any player for under their value.

Ryan recently stated that he felt Mills was worth in the region of £5 million so Forest are currently a long way off Rovers valuation.
