DRFC - Rovers enjoy win at Rotherham
Rovers enjoyed a comfortable 4-0 pre season win over near neighbours Rotherham United at the Don Valley on Saturday.
Rovers included trialists Quentin Fortune, John Oster and Jason Walker who all enjoyed at least 45 minutes and all three played there part in three of the four Rovers goals.
Sam Hird fired Rovers into a first half lead after a cross from John Oster.
Sean O`Driscoll made a number of changes at half time and it wasn`t long before one of them had doubled the lead, James Hayter headed in at the far post after a cross from Gareth Roberts.
Another half time substitute trialist Jason Walker scored goal number three, all three trialists played a part in the goal with Oster flicking on a Fortune cross, which found Hayter who hit the post and fell to Walker to tap in.
Rovers scored their fourth goal of the afternoon when Walker set up Hayter to score his second of the afternoon.
