DRFC Rovers on track for new season

Doncaster Rovers assistant manager Richard O`Kelly is happy with the sides preperations so far for the new season.

O`Kelly returned to one of his old sides Grimsby Town on Tuesday night and saw Rovers make it four wins out of four with a 2-0 victory.

Rovers are gearing themselves up for their second season in the Championship and speaking on the official website O`Kelly said "I think we are ready for the new season. I think we are probably about where we were last year. All of the figures and data that we have collected seem to suggest that we are".

Doncaster play their one and only home pre season friendly on Saturday when they play new Premiership side Wolverhampton Wanderers in a testimonial for long serving director of football Mickey Walker.

We may be winning but we are struggling with a lot of injuries and only have a small squad and we still keep messing about with these trialists. Somebody needs to pull their fingers out!
