DRFC Rovers valuation of Mills too much for Forest
Doncaster Rovers defender Matt Mills continues to be a target of fellow Championship side Nottingham Forest but the two clubs valuation of the player seems worlds apart.
Doncaster Chairman John Ryan is adamant that the defender who cost Rovers a club record £300,000 last summer will not leave for anything less than what the club value him at.
Nottingham Forest have reportedly offered £2 million for the player already this summer but that still seems a long way off Rovers value, Forest boss Billy Davies told BBC East Midlands Today: 'There is a huge gap between their asking price and our offer.
'Unless that gap gets closed in some way it's unlikely that will take place."
Rovers turned down a £1.5 million bid from Birmingham City in the January transfer window and a number of other clubs are also still rumoured to be interested in the defender.
