DRFC Doncaster Rovers 1-1 Wolves

James O`Connor and James Chambers returned to the starting line up for this afternoons friendly with Wolves, but once again there was no Matt Mills in the squad.

Trialist Byron Webster got another start after impressing at Grimsby whilst three other trialists Quentin Fortune, John Oster and Mustapha Dumbuya were on the bench.

Jason Walker who has been on trial from Barrow was not included in the squad.

In a goalless first half Sam Hird had Rovers best chance but his header was saved by Hennessey low down in the Wolves goal.

Sam Hird probably also had Wolves best effort when his clearing header went just wide.

Doncaster made nine changes at half time, only Neil Sullivan and Byron Webster returned for the second half.

Lewis Guy had Rovers first chance of the second half but Hennessey turned his effort out for a corner.

Rovers were soon in the lead however, Mark Wilson rifled in from the edge of the area.

Rovers continued to have the better of the game but Wolves drew level just past the hour when Matt Jarvis had time to pick his spot and gave Sullivan no chance.

Wolves had a couple of chances to win the game late on but a draw was about a fair result and concluded a good pre season for Rovers.

Next Saturday the serious action starts with Rovers making the trip to face Watford.
