DRFC Rovers v Spurs team news

Doncaster entertain Tottenham Hotspur in the Carling Cup this evening with a number of players returning from injuries.

Influential midfielders Brian Stock and James Coppinger picked up knocks to their ankles at the weekend, they are both fit but may not be risked ahead of the important Championship clash with Cardiff at the weekend.

Better news for Rovers is that James O`Connor, Martin Woods and Byron Webster are back in training and could feature.

Spurs are likely to make a host of changes with a number of squad players expected to make a start.

Peter Crouch who still hasn`t featured for the first team this season could make a start along with fellow forward Roman Pavlyuchenko.

Also expected to play are midfielders David Bentley and Jamie O`Hara.

I would sooner see us put the reserves out tonight than risk injuries. We have a number of players who have or are struggling and only a small squad. The Championship is where it matters and not the League Cup.
dazza71
could be a reserves match all round tonight dazza as i dont think harry will want to risk to many of the first team. whats your prediction all you donny fans i say 4-0 to the spurs
