DRFC Rovers v Cardiff team news

Doncaster Rovers entertain Cardiff on Saturday hoping to put a disappointing week behind them.

Having lost to Middlesbrough and Spurs in the last seven days the fixtures don`t get any easier with table toppers Cardiff City visiting the Keepmoat stadium.

Doncaster

Rovers are expected to make a number of changes from the side that lost to Spurs in midweek.

Goalkeeper Neil Sullivan and on loan defender Jason Shackell are expected to return to the starting line up.

James Coppinger could also return after missing in midweek with a knee injury.

Jos Van Nieuwstadt has returned to training after his hernia operation but is unlikely to feature.

Still out are James O`Connor, Steve Brooker, Steve Elliott and Sean McDaid.

Cardiff

The Bluebirds also made a number of changes fro their midweek Carling Cup tie, Mark Hudson, Joe Ledley, Jay Bothroyd and David Marshall are all expected to come back into the side.

New signing Sololon Taiwon will probably feature on the bench

Kyle McNaughton (ankle ) and former Rovers loan player Ross McCormack (hamstring) will definitely be missing.
