O'Driscoll expects transfer activity by Tuesday

Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O`Driscoll says that there could be arrivals and departures before the transfer window closes at 5pm on Tuesday.

O`Driscoll speaking on the official website said "I think there will be some comings and goings. I would imagine a couple will go and if we can get a couple in, that would be great".

It wasn`t until the week before the season started that Rovers actually made their first signings of the summer, Quentin Fortune and John Oster signed on short term deals and Byron Webster and Mustafa Dumbuya signed on longer term deals.

Rovers also signed Jason Shackell on a month`s loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers and after putting in a number of impressive performances fans would jump at the chance to see him signing permanently for the club.

The club have lost two of their more influential players over the summer with Richie Wellens and Matt Mills both joining fellow Championship clubs.

Be sure to check Vital Doncaster Rovers who will keep you up to date with all the transfer activity as it happens at the Keepmoat Stadium.

I think I'm more worried about who might leave, I hope it's not a regular first teamer. I hope we can bring a proven striker in, we make enough chances just need a predator in front of goal.

Agree we need a consistent striker. I've read so many match reports where we seem to have the best of play only to miss out due to poor finishing.

Well not a massive amount of action but some good business. Sharp and Shackell are great signings, shame they are only on loan. The lad Wilson could be one for the future as well.
