DRFC Coppinger nearing return

James Coppinger is hopeful of playing in the South Yorkshire derby against Barnsley on Saturday week after the calf injury he suffered against Scunthorpe United is a strain and not more serious as first feared.

Rovers are also hoping to welcome back two long term injured in the next month.

Sean McDaid who has been unlucky with injuries over the last eighteen month`s has done his rehabilitation at Lilleshall and is now back in light training.

Steve Brooker who has still only made the one appearance for Rovers, when he was a scoring substitute on his debut at Watford last season is hopeful of returning to full training at the end November.
