DRFC Doncaster Rovers v Barnsley officials

Graham Salisbury will be the man in charge of the South Yorkshire derby when Doncaster Rovers meet Barnsley at the Keepmoat this Saturday.

The Lancashire official who was appointed to the National list of referees in 2001 as so far this season refereed 12 games showing 19 yellow cards and 1 red.

Last season he refereed 36 games, showing 88 yellow cards and 5 reds.

He`s already taken charge of Rovers this season when they lost in August 2-0 at Middlesbrough.

Rovers fans will probably remember him with mixed feelings from the 2005/06 season. He took charge of Rovers Carling Cup win over Manchester City when he awarded both clubs penalties in extra time and rather harshly sent off a City player.

He then took charge of Rovers New Years Eve trip to Rotherham when he sent off Paul Heffernan for diving inside the area when it was clearly a penalty, Rotherham went on to win 1-0 with a goal deep into injury time.

The last time he took charge of a Barnsley game was last season when they lost 2-0 a Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Referee: G. Salisbury (Lancashire)
Assistants: S.J Cook & K.W Haycock
Fourth official: D. Naylor

I'm surprised he's got another Rovers game so soon after the last.
