DRFC Fairhurst joins Shrews on loan

Doncaster Rovers young striker Waide Fairhurst has joined League Two side Shrewsbury Town on an initial one month loan deal.

The young striker has scored two goals from two starts in the league this season.

Fairhurst made his first start for the club earlier this season at West Brom and scored within seven minutes.

He followed this up with a goal in his next game, the opener against Ipswich Town.

He was dropped back to the bench for the next game, and has only made a few brief substitute appearances since, he was not in the eighteen for the game against Peterborough on Tuesday night.

The 20 year old will go straight into the Shrewsbury squad for their game against Aldershot on Saturday.

Surprised to see him loaned out, couldn't understand why he was dropped after two goals in two games.
