Rovers once again had to settle for a draw after twice taking the lead in a six goal thriller.
Doncaster made two changes from the side that lost at Newcastle last week, Gareth Roberts and John Oster replaced James O`Connor and Quinton Fortune.
Blackpool made four changes from the side that drew with Swansea last weekend.
Martin Woods who was the villain last week after missing a penalty made amends inside the first five minutes when he scored after good ball into the middle by John Oster.
Ian Evatt equalised for the visitors just after twenty minutes when he headed in from a corner, although Brett Ormerod was claiming the final touch.
Rovers retook the lead in the opening minute of the second half after a good ball into the middle by Gareth Roberts his ball found Sharp who put the ball past Gilks in the Blackpool goal.
Blackpool equalised for a second time when Emmanuel-Thomas walked through the Rovers defence before giving Sullivan no chance.
Ben Burgess put the visitors ahead for the first time in the afternoon with just under fifteen minutes remaining when his well executed shot found the top corner of the net.
Rovers equalised in the last minute when Hayter headed down for Sharp who looked offside, scored his second of the afternoon.
Rovers almost stole it in time added on when Paul Heffernan fired wide from just inside the penalty area.
Another draw sees Rovers drop one place in the table to nineteenth.
