DRFC Copps hoping to do a Blackpool

Doncaster Rovers midfielder James Coppinger is hoping they can do a 'Blackpool` and move away from the relegation zone and in or around the Play off positions.
Coppinger was speaking after Rovers exciting 3-3 draw with the Seasiders on Saturday, speaking on the official website he said 'We're playing good sides and there's no easy side in this division. Teams are not going to roll over and give in.
Blackpool showed that and they have been on a fantastic run, they are full of confidence and it shows.
If you put a few back-to-back wins together in this league, this is the sort of thing that you can achieve. '

Rovers currently sit in nineteenth position three points above the relegation zone but a win on Saturday at Plymouth who currently occupy the final releagtion zone could see them climb as high as fouteenth.

Coppinger will be hoping Rovers can have a similar run to what they had after Christmas last year when they was the second best side in the division in term of points gained.

Playing well again this season, defence not quite as tight as last which is a shame as we are finding the net a bit more often.

Too many draws, need to stop sitting back when taking the lead.
