DRFC McDaid nightmare nearing end

Doncaster Rovers defender Sean McDaid`s injury nightmare of the past eighteen months took another step to finally being over when he played in a practice match on Tuesday.

McDaid who suffered a serious dislocation to his knee, also in a practice match back in 2008 came on against Sheffield United for the last twenty minutes.

Rovers assistant manager Richard O`Kelly speaking in the Sheffield Star said 'He needs to play more practice games or part games for us. He's not yet ready for us to consider trying to get him out on loan but in a couple of weeks' time he probably will be."

Good to see he's almost back to full fitness. Get him out on loan for a few months.
