DRFC Rovers defensive headache clearing

DRFC Rovers defensive headache clearing

Doncaster Rovers defender crisis could be about to lift with full backs Jason Shackell, Adam Lockwood and Byron Webster all near to a return.

Rovers will be relieved after having only one fit full back, Sam Hird for the clubs last game at Plymouth.

Shackell who is on loan from Premiership club Wolves until January missed Rovers last game before the international break at Plymouth due to a groin injury but is hoping to be back in training towards the end of this week.

Lockwood broke two bones in his foot in September against Swansea City is also hopeful of returning to training this week.

Webster who dislocated his elbow on his full debut at Sheffield United at the beginning of October is also looking to be back in training this week.

All three are hoping to be pushing for a place for Saturday`s home game with QPR.

O'Driscoll as apparently said that he can't afford to bring Shackell to the Keepmoat!
