DRFC Youth side bow out of Cup

Doncaster Rovers hopes of going any further in the FA Youth Cup this season were dashed on Wednesday night when they lost 3-0 at home to Newcastle United.

Rovers youngsters battle hard against their Geordie opponents and eventually run out on steam in extra time after the game finished 0-0 after 90 minutes.

Two goals by Bradden Inman, the first twenty seconds into extra time and one from Greg McDermott sent the Magpies through.

Rovers team

Substitutes: Stephen Hoyle (for Stirland, 67), Nicholas Adkins (for Moxam, 90), Louis Radcliffe (for Towler, 111), Robert Oldham, Jordan Bradshaw

Do you have a very good youth policy, don't see many of your players coming through the ranks.

The goal in the first few seconds of extra time must have been a killer.
